Our 12’x30’ steel barge is equipped with a crane capable of lifting 5000 lbs and an auger used to drill through rock. Your dock will be built right the first time! We set our pilings 5’ to 6’ in the river bottom to ensure they can withstand hurricane-force winds. When jetted in at this depth, the pilings snap in half before they move. Any more than that and you are wasting the piling, any less than 5' the piling is not sturdy. Our engineers recommend this, therefore we have built our docks the same way since 2004.
